Tutu's body was found with signs of violence under a bridge.

A transgender woman known as Tutu was found dead on Thursday morning, the 21st, in Itapororoca, in the interior of Paraíba. Her body was under a bridge over the Mamanguape River, in an area connecting the municipality to Cuité de Mamanguape.

According to information based on data from the Civil Police, the main suspicion is that Tutu was murdered by being beaten with a stick.

The police reported that the victim lived in the region.

The Legal Medicine and Dentistry Center of Guarabira was called to carry out the forensic examination. Investigations are ongoing to identify and locate the suspects.
