Tabatha was shot during the early hours of Sunday 2nd August.
A trans woman, known as “Tabatha Lavinny”, was shot dead in the early hours of this Sunday morning (2), in the HBB region, in Teresina. The victim was well known in the region, and the crime mobilized teams from the Military Police of Piauí.
After being called to the scene, the police cordoned off the area for forensic investigation. Once the procedures were completed, the body was removed by a team from the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML).
To date, there is no information regarding the perpetrator or the motive for the homicide. The case will be investigated by the Civil Police of Piauí.
