Meanwhile, the Acayucan Civil Protection was alerted and arrived at the scene. Although they tried to revive Paris, she no longer had vital signs after being shot in the temple.
The activist Jazz Bustamante shared through her official networks that Paris was a well-known person among the population and that, despite the days passing, the FGE has not said what the main line of investigation is in this, the second murder of a trans woman in Veracruz, in less than a week. “Her case of her would add 2 trans women murdered in the course of 2023 in the state of Veracruz, one of the most violent entities in recent years against LGBTQ + people,” she wrote.
Two days before, in the streets of the center of the city of Veracruz, Denisse, a 35-year-old trans woman who worked in the area, was found unconscious and with multiple blows, moments after she was taken to the Regional Hospital of the city, passed away.
