Beatriz's body was found with a gunshot wound on the evening of Monday 2nd February. She had been missing since the previous day.
Two days earlier Irlana had also been murdered in the same city.
A trans woman who had been missing since Sunday (1st) was found dead on Monday night (2), in the Boca da Mata neighborhood of Salvador. The victim was identified as Beatriz Ganzarolli, 23 years old.
The body was found in a wooded area, with a gunshot wound to the forehead. Police officers from the 22nd Military Police Battalion were called to the scene and confirmed the incident, isolating the area.
The Homicide and Personal Protection Department (DHPP) and the Technical Police Department (DPT) were also at the crime scene and carried out the forensic examination and removal of the body.
There is still no information regarding the perpetrator or the motive for the murder . The Civil Police are investigating the case.
